Tom Brady’s ex-wife Gisele Bundchen spotted in Rio de Janeiro ahead of Carnival

Gisele Bundchen arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Saturday as Carnival is in full swing in her home country. The model, who recently divorced Tom Brady, was seen smiling and waving to fans after her plane landed in Rio de Janeiro. She was dressed in sweats and looked ready to get the party started.

Her arrival in Brazil comes just days after she posted a video to her Instagram page alongside her friend and choreographer, Justin Neto. The two danced to the song "Balança Pema," a song by Brazilian recording artist Marisa Monte. She captioned the post by saying that she was getting in the mood to celebrate Carnival.

"Getting in the mood for carnival!"

Carnival is the country's biggest event every year. Carnival kicks off late on the Friday before Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent on the Catholic calendar. This year's Carnival celebration began on February 17 and will conclude on Wednesday, February 22. Bundchen arrived just in time to get in on the celebration as it kicks up throughout the week.

Carnival celebrations in Brazil include parades throughout the streets, block parties, formal parties, and much more. Music is an integral part of Carnival and adds to the celebrations.

There is no further information on who she will be celebrating Carnival with as her two children, Benjamin and Vivian, are with Tom Brady on a ski trip.

Gisele Bundchen gets back to modeling with Louis Vuitton

Since her divorce from Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen has gone back into the modeling industry. After making appearances at New York Fashion Week late last year, Bundchen is now a part of the new Louis Vuitton campaign.

The model debuted a new handbag from the designer last month. A collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama. The campaign also includes Karlie Kloss, Bella Hadid, Anol Yai and Christy Turlington. The model also has other new projects in the works in the fashion and modeling industry.

The project that she is said to be working on comes with a line of high-end, designer bathing suits. She was recently spotted wearing a Versace swimsuit in Miami for a photo shoot on the beach.

This looks to be the official return of Gisele Bundchen to the world of modeling after her hiatus in 2016. From 2002 until 2016 she was the highest-paid model in the world. She is clearly picking up right where she left off.
