On Wednesday, Jason and Travis Kelce debuted the third season of their podcast "New Heights." At the start of the episode, Jason asked his brother about the mustache look he once again arrived at training camp with.

Jason said that the facial hair looked different than it did a few weeks ago. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave some insight about his hair as well.

Jason: "You lost some of your facial hair."
Travis: "Uh yes, well, I always do the Andy Reid special, baby."

Jason: "She looks good. It looks clean."
Travis: "Thanks, bud. I grew out the hair though. I switched it up. Well, I don't get the buzz cut, and I'm not a super trooper. I'm more of a different character with the stash. But yeah, just having some fun with it. And when I'm at training camp, I really don't care how I look, I just want to be there and try and make it the most enjoyable experience ever." (11:11)

Travis Kelce arrived at training camp in 2023 with a mustache as well, at the time the phrase "El Travador" was coined by the tight end to describe his look. He now refers to the look as the "Andy Reid Special" to show some love to his longtime head coach.

Travis Kelce gave credit to Patrick Mahomes for making it right after miscue

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes went viral a few weeks ago with an impressive behind-the-back pass. The ball landed in the hands of his No. 1 target, Travis Kelce, for a first down. Afterward, Mahomes revealed it was a mistake on the tight end's part and that he ran the wrong route, which led to the impressive pass.

On the first episode of season three of "New Heights", Kelce admitted to the mistake and credited his quarterback for making him look good.

“And Pat Mahomes had something in the back of his head when I walked across the line of scrimmages, like, ‘What'd you say?’ That I didn't know what I was doing. So, he was gonna have to make something shake. And that's why we love playing with Pat Mahomes, ladies and gentlemen, because even when you f**k up, he makes you right.” (00:17:01)

Travis also told his brother that there were hundreds of play options and only a few were used each game.
