Travis Kelce reveals his approach to girlfriend Taylor Swift's creative process

Travis Kelce has been dating Taylor Swift for over a year, but he has not been able to honestly explain how she is still in her musical prime, even at 35. That changed on Monday when he visited Pat McAfee's eponymous show.

The former punter had joked about the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end becoming an inspiration for the multi-platinum pop megastar's next song:

McAfee even joked about Kelce becoming an inspiration for one such new song on "The Pat McAfee Show":

"Let's just say you're hanging and out and having a little dinner, and all of the sudden the creative juice sparks. And the absolute beast that you're sitting with who is going to go down as maybe the most famous icon in the history of music... Are you a motivator every single time?"

The Kansas City Chiefs star tight end said:

"I’ll never chime in. But I’m here to support it. I’m here to see where it can go. I thought the European crowds were crazy."

He continued:

"But I got to go to the last night at Lucas Oil and they were going nuts. I’ve seen that thing rocking when the Colts are playing, they might’ve had that thing rocking even more."

Travis Kelce reveals Taylor Swift will attend Chiefs-Texans Divisional Round game, teases new music from her

In other Taylor Swift-related news, Travis Kelce also revealed that the "Shake It Off" singer would attend the Chiefs' Divisional Round game against the Houston Texans on Saturday.

The two teams first faced off in Week 16, where the reigning Super Bowl champions secured a 27-19 victory at home. Swift was present during that game, marking the 17th win in 20 games for the Kansas City Chiefs when she is in attendance.

When asked whether there would be more vibe from the last time around, Kelce said:

“Oh yeah, you know it, baby. It’s playoff football, man.”

Meanwhile, Pat McAfee wondered:

“She rolls into that stadium. I just want to let you know what live bettors do. They see her walk into that stadium and immediately open the phone, like, ‘Yup, Chiefs are about to win.’ That is just literally the feel.”

The eight-time Pro Bowler also hinted that "there might be a few" new songs from his girlfriend soon but declined to give further details. Her latest album, The Tortured Poets' Department, was released almost nine months ago this past April.
