Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been in the public eye as a couple for almost a year now, enjoying worldwide adoration. However, Kayla Nicole, Kelce’s ex-girlfriend and sports journalist, was recently targeted by a Swift fan and gave a befitting reply.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Nicole started dating in 2017 and had an on-and-off relationship till 2022. Nicole got attention from Swift fans after Kelce started dating Swift in 2023, most of which has been positive.

However, on Sunday night, a Swiftie targeted Nicole's looks on X (previously Twitter). The user posted a collage of Nicole’s pictures in reply to a conversation regarding Nicole’s presence at the Chiefs game.

“Without makeup, without filters and edits, she’s just another normal woman we meet walking down the street,” the Swiftie captioned the collage.

Nicole responded to this post and served a takedown to the fan.

“YOU WILL NEVER MAKE ME HATE ME. Hang it upppppppp bookie,” Nicole tweeted in reply.

Nicole has enjoyed the support of the Chiefs Kingdom even after her relationship with Kelce ended. Patrick Mahomes’s brother Jackson was recently enamored with Nicole on Instagram.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship has brought together the two powerhouses of sports and music. However, this means continuous scrutiny and mainstream attention. Despite that, they are going strong. Donna Kelce said in an interview with Page Six that Travis is perfect for Swift.

“He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good. He’s kind. He’s generous. And from what I understand, so is she. I hope they’re having a good time,” Donna Kelce said.

The unbeaten Chiefs will be back at home in their Week 5 fixture against the New Orleans Saints. Kelce and Co. have a kick-off on Monday, October 10, at 7:15 p.m. CT. Swift’s presence at this game is yet to be determined.
