Travis Kelce's mother Donna claims TE was made for the limelight post-Taylor Swift romance

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are one of the most internet-buzzing celebrity couples. The two have grabbed massive attention, and fans have often appreciated Kelce's ability to handle it. However, not many fans know that Kelce is made for attention.

The Extra interviewed Travis Kelce's mother Donna on Thursday, during which she claimed that the Chiefs star is made for the limelight.

“He’s always been one to be in the limelight. He loves attention. I mean it, he’s always dancing, always joking around, always having fun… he just loves life. It just seems like his life is on a trajectory that just is rising every single day," Donna said.

"Every time I turn around, I’m seeing him doing something different – whether it’s on the golf course, or at a concert, or whatever, he’s just having his best life right now. A lot of the antics that he does, whether it’s on the field or elsewhere … even with his clothes sometimes, he’s like, ‘I just want a smile out of people.’”

Donna Kelce has spent a significant amount of time with Taylor Swift. During an interview with PageSix on Monday, Donna was asked about the secret to the couple's healthy relationship.

“He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good. He’s kind. He’s generous. And from what I understand, so is she. I hope they’re having a good time,” Donna said.

The tight end has been criticized for his poor performances lately. In an interview with PEOPLE on Tuesday, Donna hit back at fans for criticizing the tight end.

"It's tough, it really is. You know, I don't think they realize the pressure that people are under, whether they're athletes or professionals that are in front of the camera. And it's just very difficult, there's a lot of things going on behind the scenes," Donna said.

"You don't realize how many times people are trying to keep you from catching the ball, or trying to trip you up or hit you … so it's kinda hard when you've got people that are in your face 24/7."

When it comes to Travis Kelce's slow start of the season, fans didn't hold themself back in blaming Taylor Swift for it. On Tuesday, Whoopi Goldberg clapped back at fans for accusing Swift of Kelce's low performance.
