Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's engagement will happen "within 6 months" predicts Dave Portnoy

It's been almost a year since Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's relationship began, and fans are keenly waiting for the couple's wedding. The anticipation has skyrocketed ever since Taylor Swift made Travis Kelce Instagram official.

While there has been speculation that the engagement will happen this year, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy offered a clearer picture of the time frame. During a podcast episode with PageSix, Portnoy said Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are "head over heels in love" and went on to predict the time of their engagement.

"Any predictions on when the engagement could be coming, it's got to be coming?" host Astra asked.

"It's got to be coming soon, it seems like it's ramping up. I would say within six months. It feels like that," Dave Portnoy said. (0:33)

Being a huge Taylor Swift fan himself, Portnoy acknowledges the All Too Well singer's strong bond with Travis Kelce. There were even speculations among fans that the two might be secretly married. When asked about the same, Portnoy answered:

"They don't seem to be doing much secretly anymore. So, no, I don't think they secretly are. I think how public they seem to be, they would very much want that to be a big show."

Talking about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's engagement, the Chiefs tight end's sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, was also asked to shed light on the same topic. However, Jason Kelce's wife chose to avoid the matter and deflected the topic instead.

Even though neither of them have hinted at any wedding plans, Taylor Swift recently made Travis Kelce Instagram official. The Blank Space singer picked Eras Tour London to hard launch the Chiefs tight end on social media, via a post on X.

The Prince of Wales attended the first leg of Eras Tour London with his kids. Post the show, Taylor Swift shared a post wishing Price William on his 42nd birthday. The Grammy-winner singer and songwriter attached a picture of herself with the Prince of Wales and his family. Importantly, Travis Kelce also was present in the photograph.

"Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start," Taylor Swift wrote.

As for Travis Kelce, the Chiefs tight end might not have talked about engagement plans. But he did acknowledge his girlfriend Taylor Swift's impact on the success of his New Heights podcast. Clearly, the couple are more than comfortable letting the public have a closer look at their relationship.
