Trenton Simpson can rush passers, play around the box and block passing options. Due to his rapid trigger, he frequently finds himself close to the ball. Simpson is always prepared to fill the slot and closes swiftly.
Contrary to what his physique might suggest, he's much quicker and more energetic and has the frame to add additional high-quality weight. He showed off NFL-caliber abilities when Clemson used him outside to pressure the passer and inside as an off-ball linebacker.
Trenton Simpson must develop his alertness and play evaluations to reach the next level. He occasionally makes mistakes with misdirection. He can also find it difficult to predict where the ball will be played.
