Trevon Diggs wasted no time calling out Stephen A. Smith after the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs.

Smith is one of the most notorious Cowboys haters in the media, consistently talking trash about the franchise. Leading up to the game, Smith infamously claimed the Cowboys had no chance of winning against the Buccaneers.

Apparently, Diggs took Smith's comments personally. Immediately following the Cowboys' dominant 31-14 victory against the Buccaneers, he found a media camera covering the game to deliver a direct message. He called out Stephen A. Smith by name to rub the victory in his face, proving his prediction wrong.

"We just won. What was the score? 31-14. Stephen A., watch your mouth."

Diggs posted a photo of Smith to his Instagram stories, but with one simple edit. He also tagged Smith's Instagram handle in the story.

Diggs posted a photo of Smith wearing a Tom Brady jersey and a Tampa Bay Buccaneers hat while holding a cigar and wearing shades. The image was from an episode of First Take that previewed the upcoming wild-card matchup of the NFL playoffs. Diggs added the clown emoji to the picture.

His impressive play as a cornerback resulted in him being selected by the Dallas Cowboys with the 51st overall pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He immediately made an impact, recording three interceptions in 12 games during his rookie year.

Diggs took a huge leap forward in his second season with the Cowboys in 2021. He emerged as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL with his elite playmaking abilities. He led all players with 11 interceptions and two touchdown returns. He was selected as a first-team All-Pro for his breakout year.

The 2022 NFL season didn't result in as many interceptions as 2021. One of the main reasons for that was opposing quarterbacks avoiding him. He still recorded three interceptions and was selected to his second consecutive Pro Bowl.
