Trevor Lawrence, wife Marissa cap off $275,000,000 summer with pregnancy announcement

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence's busy offseason continued with news of his family getting bigger. After becoming one of the highest-paid players and quarterbacks in NFL history ($275 million contract) less than a month ago, Lawrence and his wife, Marissa, announced that their first baby is on the way.

The Jaguars' Twitter page broke the news on social media on Thursday afternoon.

According to people.com, Trevor and Marissa met in high school in 2016 and got engaged in 2020 before marrying in 2021.

Marissa shared photos on her Instagram of the two posing for pictures together with the caption, "A little Lawrence on the way," with a heart.

The baby will be both Lawrence and Marissa's first.

This summer will be a memorable one for Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Before announcing that he will be welcoming his first child with his wife Marissa, Lawrence became tied for the highest-paid player in NFL history with Joe Burrow. Lawrence signed his new five-year, $275 million contract on June 14, to become Jacksonville's quarterback for the future.

In his career, Lawrence has a 20-30 record and has thrown for 11,770 yards, 58 touchdowns, 39 interceptions and has rushed for 964 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Lawrence has likely experienced some of his best memories this summer. Now, it's time for him to deliver on the football field for the Jaguars.
