The McVay and Whitworth families donated $400,000 to two organizations, the LAFD Foundation and the Pasadena Community Foundation. Inspired by this, Cooper Kupp pledged to match up to $500,000 for each organization to raise an additional $1M in relief funding.

Arizona Cardinals helped relocate Cooper Kupp's team, Los Angeles Rams, for playoff game amid wildfire crisis

The Arizona Cardinals showed true sportsmanship by helping their rivals, the Los Angeles Rams, amidst the wildfires in Southern California, which made it unsafe to play in Los Angeles. The Rams’ playoff game was moved to the Cardinals’ State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill arranged two planes to fly Rams players, staff and families to Arizona.

Trucks carrying Rams equipment arrived late at night, and Cardinals staff worked past midnight to set up everything the Rams needed. They even cleared out 74 lockers to give the Rams space and adjusted the field to make it feel more like home for the visiting team.

Taking to Instagram, the Rams thanked the Cardinals and the people of Arizona on Instagram, writing:

"In times of adversity, true integrity is shown. Arizona, you were there for us when we needed it most. We are grateful to the Bidwill Family, the entire Arizona Cardinals staff, and the local community who took us in without hesitation and with gracious hospitality."

In the relocated game, the Rams won over the Vikings to enter the divisional round.
