Could Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins miss the playoffs?
The Miami Dolphins could very well end up missing the playoffs. After starting the season strong at 3-0 and improving to 8-3, the outfit seemed like a lock in the mid-season to have a top seed in the AFC.
Fast forward to Week 16 and they sit at 8-7 with many teams in the AFC fighting for wild card spots.
The Buffalo Bills have clinched the AFC East, which means the Dolphins will be a wildcard team if they make the postseason.
The Cincinnati Bengals (11-4) and Baltimore Ravens (10-5) will both likely make the playoffs out of the AFC North.
Other teams such as the Los Angeles Chargers (8-6), New England Patriots (7-8), New York Jets (7-8), Pittsburgh Steelers (7-8), Tennessee Titans (7-8), and Jacksonville Jaguars (7-8) are all in the playoff hunt. There will be two weeks left in the regular season and anything is possible.
