Tyreek Hill complained of a wrist injury last week and showed up on the Miami Dolphins injury report. But he did not miss the team's game against the Los Angeles Rams which they won 15-23.
On Monday, ESPN reported that Hill had torn a ligament in his wrist and the injury was not recent, but something he had been struggling with it all season.
After the Dolphins' victory over the Rams, Tyreek Hill said the injury had reaggravated during the team's outing vs the Washington Commanders in the preseason.
Reporters caught up with Hill and asked him about his injury. The Cheetah was adamant that he wasn't missing games and won't let the injury affect his game.

"I'm here, I'm locked in no matter what, no matter how I feel. Even if I gotta cut my wrist off, I’m still out there. Because I love the game of football."
He added that doctors had suggested surgery to fix his wrist but that would've meant missing many games at such a crucial junction in the season. Tyreek said that he's decided to put it on hold:
"Surgery was brought up and it was talked about whenever I talked to a few of the doctors. It’s my call at the end of the day and my call is to stay on the field." (H/T The Palm Beach Post)
Why has Tyreek Hill's production seen a slump this season?
The major factor behind Tyreek's slump in production could be the absence of QB Tua Tagovailoa, who was under concussion protocol and missed several games. Without him, Hill fell to #68 among wideouts with 10 yards per catch.
However, this hasn't dampened his spirits and he told reporters in Week 8 that he was not going to let the losses and his poor number get to him.
"You're going to have ups, you're going to have downs. I'm going on Year 9 now, so I understand how it goes," Tyreek said. "I'm not finna dwell on it, I'm not finna lose my head over football."
With Tua back, his numbers have seen a boost. Tyreek Hill's average yards per game increased to 76 in the last two games. However, it's still way below his average of 112.4 yards per game last season.
And now with his aggravated wrist injury, it seems difficult that he'll manage to top off last season.
