Despite a difficult campaign, Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins are still alive in the race for a playoff spot, but they need a lot of help.
They have to win their last two games and finish the season with a 9-8 record. That is imperative for them to have a chance of booking a playoff berth. However, they also have to bank on the Los Angeles Chargers or the Denver Broncos losing their final two games and the Indianapolis Colts dropping one of their last two.
Their playoff odds are at 8% but could drop to zero by the time their Week 17 game against the Cleveland Browns commences on Sunday, as the Chargers and Broncos are scheduled to be in action on Saturday.

The Dolphins have several players on their injury report, including superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill, so their participation hinges on the result of LA and Denver's games.

Tyreek Hill injury update: Will WR play in Week 17 vs. Browns
Tyreek Hill is dealing with a nagging wrist injury and was a limited participant in practice throughout the week. The Dolphins will field him if the Chargers or Broncos lose on Saturday.
However, if both teams win, Miami will be knocked out of playoff contention, and the odds of the veteran wide receiver playing against the Browns will decline significantly.
Tyreek Hill stats: How has WR fared this season?
Hitting 1,000 receiving yards might be the only reason Hill plays if the Chargers and Broncos clinch the final two spots in the AFC playoffs. He has 70 catches for 834 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
If there are bonuses in his contract that are automatically triggered once he hits 1000, he might take the field. However, reaching that milestone would only be glossing over an underwhelming campaign for the 30-year-old receiver.
His final numbers will be well below the 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns he hit last season. Hill also hasn't been as safe to throw the ball to as he has been in the past.
Hill has uncharacteristically dropped a few passes he would have easily hauled in if they were thrown to him last season. It's his most underwhelming campaign since his rookie season.
He has two more games to finish the season on a high, but it remains to be seen whether the Dolphins field him or keep him sidelined to ensure he starts his offseason early and comes back re-energized in 2025.
