After the Jacksonville Jaguars' victory euphoria, Tyreek Hill has been thinking about how the past few days have unfolded for him. He scored one touchdown for the Miami Dolphins, but hours before that he was being handcuffed by the police for speeding on Sunday.
On Wednesday, the Miami Dolphins wideout talked about what he could've done differently:
"Could have been better, you know, I could have let down my window, you know, in that instant. But at the end of the day, you know, I'm human. I gotta follow rules. I gotta, you know, do what you know. Everyone else would do, you know."
He did not lay all the blame on the police officers. Instead, he accepted where he was wrong. Despite a police officer repeatedly telling him to let down his window, the wideout refused to do so, likely aggravating the situation.

On the question of whether some of the officers went too far while detaining him, Tyreek Hill said:
"So, now, does that give them the right to literally beat the dog out of me? Absolutely not. But at the end of the day, I wish I could go back and, you know, do things a bit differently."
In the bodycam video, a police officer appeared to pin Hill to the road and handcuffed him, and police appeared to also force him to the ground.
Tyreek Hill calls for police officer's firing
Despite acknowledging his fault in the situation, Tyreek Hill said that the police officer's actions were unjustifiable and called for him to be fired:
“Gone. Gone. Gone. Gone. Gone. He gotta go. In that instance right there, not only did he treat me bad, he treated my teammates with disrespect.”
What irked Hill further was that an officer, in his view, spoke disrespectfully to his teammates, defensive tackle Calais Campbell and tight end Jonnu Smith, who said they were trying to diffuse the situation. Campbell was briefly handcuffed.
On video, a police officer appeared to say:
"I'm not gonna tell you to leave — I'm gonna give you one more time. I'm giving you an order to get out of here."
