The New York Jets decided to show up in Week 18 with a 32-20 win over the Miami Dolphins, pulling the curtains on the team's playoff hopes. While Rodgers threw his 500th career touchdown on Sunday, the Dolphins left MetLife Stadium in somewhat of a shock after Tyreek Hill's post-game comments.

After the game, in the heat of the moment, Tyreek Hill made his frustrations clear over missing the playoffs, telling reporters in the scrum:

"I just gotta do what's best for me and my family, whether that's here or wherever the case may be. I'm gonna open that door for myself. I'm out, bro. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I gotta do what's best for my career. I'm too much of a competitor to be just out there."

Hill's comments went viral overnight with several people in NFL circles believing this was the end of the road after a blockbuster trade to Miami just three years ago. On Tuesday, Hill's teammate Zach Sieler was asked for his thoughts on Hill's future. The Dolphins DT told reporters:

“It’s a knee-jerk reaction. That stuff happens. I don’t know what happened. We need to stay focused this year on making sure everyone’s here, making sure everyone’s on time. We’re focused on winning it all next year.”

Ranking the top 3 landing spots for Tyreek Hill

Off the top, two teams make the most sense if Hill is looking for a change of scenery: the Washington Commanders and Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chargers cleared house this past summer but made the playoffs regardless, with rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey a major bright spot in the offense.

However, the Chargers relied heavily on the run game in the regular season in a move that was straight out of OC Greg Roman's playbook when he was with the Baltimore Ravens. Adding Hill would free McConkey up to wreak some havoc and also make defenses respect Justin Herbert's arm.

The Washington Commanders should also explore adding Hill to their ranks for the sole reason that a tandem of Terry McLaurin and Hill would instantly be among the most feared in the league. The Commanders are reportedly slated to have just under $100 million in cap space, giving them enough room to make a trade work.

And if the Commanders and Chargers aren't interested, the Atlanta Falcons could be a team to keep an eye on.
