Tyreek Hill has been the subject of trade rumors rumors linking him to a return to the Kansas City Chiefs. but he will be the first to say that he is happy where he currently is.

The Miami Dolphins have been undergoing a collapse from their title contender form in 2023, when they spent most of the season dominating the AFC East only to falter late and allow the Buffalo Bills to eclipse them. And now, speculation has surfaced that the top wide receiver will be among the victims of a midseason roster purge that coach Mike McDaniel acknowledged to contemplating after Monday's loss to the Tennessee Titans.

That led to this cryptic tweet from Hill on Wednesday afternoon:

But addressing the media later that day, he downplayed his excitement, saying that he was happy to remain a Dolphin.

"I'm just focused on right here and right now," Hill said. "We've got a beautiful team here and I want to be a part of it. We've got a great situation here, my family loves it, I enjoy it, the weather's great, the fans are great ... Moving forward, I would love to be here -- I love being here."

Tyreek Hill expects different offensive performance from Dolphins at Patriots

The next game presents an opportunity for a Tyreek Hill rebound.

The New England Patriots have one of the shallowest rosters in the league. And for the top wideout, that will mean a significant positive result for him and the rest of the offense, which is led by Tyler Huntley after injuries to starters Tua Tagovailoa and Skylar Thompson.

In the same presser, he said:

“Now Snoop has a chance to understand the system, how guys play. He’s now had a chance to see how me and [Jaylen] Waddle move, how [De’Von] Achane moves, understand his offensive line, what’s going on up there. Once he has his chance to figure all that out, it’s going to be smooth back there.”

Kickoff is at 1 PM ET on Fox. Chris Myers and Mark Sanchez will call the game, with Kristina Pink providing additional reporting from the sidelines.
