Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is the latest athlete to send a message to Noah Lyles. Hill won the gold medal in the 100 meters and the bronze in the 200 at the Paris Olympics last week. However, Hill feels like he could beat Lyles in a foot race.
Kay Adams spoke to Hill during Miami Dolphins training camp on Monday for the "Up and Adams Show." He referred to Lyles' comments from last fall that NFL and NBA players can't say they are "world champions." The receiver said he also doubted Lyles had been diagnosed with COVID-19 and that Lyles used it as an excuse for losing the 200.
"Noah Lyles can't say nothing after what just happened to him," Hill said. "Then he went and came out and pretended like he's sick. I feel like that's horseradish. So, for him to, like, do that and say that we're not world champions of, like, our sport says, like, 'Come on, bro. Like, just speak on what you know about.'"
Adams then asked Hill if he would like to challenge Lyles to a race when he returns to the United States.

"I will beat Noah Lyles," Hill said. "I won't beat him by a lot, but I will beat Noah. And guess what? When I beat him, I'mma put on a COVID mask and let him know I mean business, because I do mean business."
Hill is just the latest to call out Lyles for his comments. Members of the United States basketball team who play in the NBA have also called him out for his comments about American professional sports.
