Tyreek Hill waits for The Simpsons prediction after Donald Trump's attempted assassination 

Tyreek Hill reacted to the news of an assassination attempt on former president Donald Trump with an intriguing comment. Hill pointed out that the popular television show "The Simpsons" has a track record of predicting major life events.

"Waiting on someone to post a Simpson clip saying they predicted it," the star wide receiver posted on X.

Like many others, Hill saw that Trump had a bullet graze past his ear, just narrowly missing his head. A gunman, who has been killed and was identified as a 20-year-old man from Pennsylvania, fired at Trump at a rally of his on Saturday, July 13.

The former president is reportedly doing well and is not in any danger, as the Secret Service took out the shooter and protected him from further harm. It was one of The Simpsons' predictions, but the Miami Dolphins wide receiver believes that may be a silly statement to make in the wake of such a serious event.

NFL analyst has concerns over Tyreek Hill's future

Tyreek Hill faces uncertainty regarding his future contract with the Miami Dolphins as he is due for a renewal in 2026.

NFL analyst Kristopher Knox said that a contract extension for Hill will be complicated.

“The problem is that Hill may find it difficult to get his desired contract from the Dolphins. Miami has $15.3 million in cap space currently, is projected to be $12.8 million over the cap next year and still has to work out an extension with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa," Hill said (via NFL Analysis Network).

Knox pointed out the challenge Hill might face in securing his desired contract from the dolphins. The Dolphins are playoff contenders and that should prevent him from trying to get more money from a different team. Hill previously left the Super Bowl-contending Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, and they went on to win two straight championships.

Hill has said he wants to play with the Dolphins, but it may be a logistical and financial challenge too great to overcome.
