Former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen and Aaron Rodgers were once NFC North foes. While there may not be any hard feelings between the two, Allen won't be joining Rodgers on one of his ayahuasca retreats anytime soon.
On Monday, Allen was a guest on the "Up and Adams Show" and was asked by the host, Kay Adams, how much money she could offer him to join the quarterback on a retreat and then film it.
Kay: What's the check? What's the check I'd have to write you to go do an ayahuasca retreat with Aaron Rodgers and film it like on enigma.
Jared Allen responded by saying that he doesn't believe that ayahuasca would be good for his mind. Adams then mentioned a million dollars and the former Minnesota Vikings defensive end joked that he made enough money when he played in the National Football League.

Allen: I don't like my mind to be tripping. Goodness, it had to be pretty penny, although it probably be pretty funny. Although, like, I read an article, someone's like, I found death or hell, then I found I don't need to go to hell to find myself. I know who I am... I've made enough money I don't need to do weird stuff for money anymore.
Allen made it clear that he doesn't intend to ever join Aaron Rodgers on a retreat.
Vikings DE Jared Allen gets candid about being a HOF finalist for fifth time
Former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen has been named a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the fifth time. On Monday, Kay Adams asked him how he felt about being a finalist yet again and not being named to the Hall of Fame yet. Allen got candid with his answer and said that he knows he did enough but if the selection committee doesn't feel this way there is nothing he can do about it.
"Kay, I can't. I can't kiss the ring, I'm not politicking, I'm not that guy. If my work doesn't stand by itself, then tell me that don't let me in. But I think you look at everybody I was surrounded by, nobody did it better than me when I was playing. That's facts, nobody had more sacks than me in the 12 years that I played. If I'm not good enough on my resume, then tell me that. Don't let me in, take me off the list."-Allen told Adams on the "Up and Adams Show".
Jared Allen was a four-time All-Pro and was named to the Pro Bowl five times in his 12-year NFL career. He also led the league in sacks twice in 2007 and 2011.
