As part of an old NFL tradition, the Dallas Cowboys are slated to play an afternoon game every Thanksgiving week. They're one of the two teams with a home game secured every final Thursday of November, the other being the Detroit Lions, who always play before Dallas.
NFL Thanksgiving games usually have both home teams putting on a halftime show for their fans, and it was no different in 2024. Jerry Jones decided to give the mic to Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll. But the fans once again were not satisfied with something related to the AT&T Stadium.
NFL fans were upset with the singer's choice. As the Cowboys' season derails, reasons to complain about anything regarding the team have become even more curious.

"I have no idea who this is", said one fan.
"Thank god this wasn’t the Super Bowl halftime. Worst sh*t I’ve ever heard", another noted.
"That was sh*t. Get these country singers off the stage", a third complained.
The AT&T Stadium has been at the center of controversy for Dallas in the 2024 season. A couple of weeks ago, with the roof open at the AT&T stadium, CeeDee Lamb lost track of the ball with the sun in his eyes when he was free to score a touchdown. He could not make the catch and the Cowboys did not score, losing the game later 34-6.
Cowboys finally break the curse, win a game at home for the first time in 2024
With their second straight win, Dallas finally won a home game this season. Since the turn of the year, all teams from all four major sports leagues in the U.S. had won a game at their respective homes. Expect for the Cowboys.
With the 5-7 record, the playoffs are still unlikely, as the Washington Commanders, the current seventh seed in the conference, hold a 7-5 record with five games to go.
With Dak Prescott out for the season, beating the New York Giants 27-20 certainly had a good feeling in a tough year, but the road to the playoffs feels a bit too much.
