WATCH: Brittany Mahomes shows off customized nursery for baby girl Golden Raye

Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes has given her followers a glimpse into her life as a mom on Thursday. Taking to Instagram, she revealed the beautifully customized nursery for her youngest daughter, Golden Raye, who was born on Jan. 12, 2025.

From the moment the Instagram video starts, the mother of three shows the viewer around the room with soft pink colors, golden decorations and thoughtful designs.

The heart of the room is a comfy beige armchair with an ottoman. In the voiceover, Brittany explained that this chair is very important because it’s used for feeding, reading and nighttime routines. The ottoman was chosen with Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes in mind. That way, both parents can enjoy it comfortably.

"I also added the ottoman because Patrick is much taller than I am, so we can adjust it for our legs depending on who's sitting in it," Brittany said.

The personal touches in the nursery for the couple's newborn daughter were the highlights, like framed quotes, a pink wall with the words 'Golden Raye' written in gold letters, and shelves with books and toys. Additionally, there is a mirror with flowers around on one of the walls, which adds a lovely detail.

Through the IG video, Brittany Mahomes shared that the nursery’s design was inspired by Golden’s name. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen. She wanted it to feel warm and full of pink tones.

Brittany said, “Bows are so cute, and of course, they go perfectly with her name,” which is Patrick Mahomes' wife's favorite part.

Golden Raye was born during the Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week. Thus, it gave Patrick Mahomes time to fully enjoy the special moment.

Next up, the Chiefs will face the Houston Texans on Saturday in the divisional round matchup.

Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes shared a fun story about naming their newborn daughter, Golden Raye. On Jan. 16, Brittany revealed that their three-year-old daughter, Sterling, really wanted to name her sister after the Disney character, Elsa from Frozen.

“She was set on it for a while,” Brittany laughed while revealing this.

However, in the end, the couple decided on the name Golden Raye Mahomes. While Sterling’s idea was cute, the parents chose a name they both loved and felt special.
