Xavier Worthy doesn't have just football skills, he has basketball skills as well. The Kansas City Chiefs had used their first-round pick in this year's draft to bring in Worthy, who set the record for the fastest 40-yard dash time (4.21 seconds) at the NFL Combine.

Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco took to Instagram to post a video of Worthy making an impressive trick shot on his story:

In the video, a shirtless Xavier Worthy can be seen shooting a basketball towards the wall in the locker room. The basketball bounced off the wall and went perfectly through the hoop attached to the wall above Worthy.

And then, as if the slick trickshot was nothing, Worthy casually poses for the running back. After he performs the trickshot, Pacheco can be heard saying:

"Oooh! Brother, ooh! Easy!"

Pacheco had even tagged him in the video. And the wideout shared the video on his Instagram story as well.

Xavier Worthy lays out his mantra ahead of Ravens game

The reigning Super Bowl Champions are set to face the Baltimore Ravens in the first game of the NFL 2024 regular season. And Worthy is pumped about the game.

When speaking about his regular season debut, he said:

"I mean, every kid dreams to be in NFL. It's another thing to say, but it's a different thing to do it."

There's no doubt he's feeling the heat to ace his first-ever regular NFL game. But the Ravens won't let him off so easily.

When asked about the Ravens, Xavier Worthy had this to say:

"They run a lot of different schemes. They’re really good at what they do, physical group, and it starts with their linebackers. I feel like the linebackers are the head of their defense, and we just got to play our game.

Andy Reid's schemes are notoriously hard to grasp. All the more so, if you're a rookie playing for a team aiming to record their first-ever three-peat. However, there are a few concerns that could throw a spanner in the works.

Even though Xavier Worthy is fast, his light frame could make him susceptible to tackles and fumbles. Weighing in at just 169 pounds during his Comobine, Andy Reid expressed confidence that he will work on bulking up.

However, it's not that he has to prop up the Chiefs offense game all alone. With Marquise "Hollywood" Brown and Rashee Rice on the roster, he is sure to get ample support.

And for an offense that was strongly criticized last year for its poor performance, Worthy just needs to do enough to top that.
