Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been on a tear all season. In the Ravens' regular-season finale, he threw for 217 yards and a pair of touchdowns while adding 63 rushing yards in the team's 35-10 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Coming into this week's game, Jackson had the second-highest MVP odds behind Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Allen had -350 odds to win MVP compared to Lamar Jackson's +230.

Jackson finished the regular season with 4,172 passing yards, 41 touchdowns, just four interceptions and added 915 yards on the ground with four scores. Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III backed Jackson's case for being named MVP this season and went off on people discrediting his success due to having Derrick Henry in the backfield.

"STOP USING DERRICk HENRY TO DISCREDIT LAMAR JACKSON. Henry got hit in the backfield on 50 % of his runs last year. This year it’s down to 39%. He has more than doubled his yards before contact and ITS BECAUSE OF LAMAR JACKSON’s INFLUENCE," Griffin III wrote on X.

"Watch the dang tape and you will see how often linebackers, safeties and defensive lineman are out of their gap and often chasing Lamar on under center runs, shot gun runs AND zone read looks. THIS HAS BEEN THE EASIEST 1,921 YARDS DEREK HENRY HAS EVER RUN FOR IN HIS CAREER.
"Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry are the match made in Heaven I predicted they would be in the offseason. They complement each other and are great teammates. Lamar has the 2nd highest passer rating in NFL HISTORY with 41 Passing TDS and won the AFC North. He should be the NFL MVP."

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens win the AFC North, clinch the No. 3 seed

Lamar Jackson's Ravens had a lot to play against the Browns. They needed a win to clinch the AFC North title as well as the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs. They achieved that following their 35-10 win and improving to 12-5. They'll now host their wild card round game.

If the Ravens had lost and if the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, then the Ravens would have entered the playoffs as a wildcard team.

The Kansas City Chiefs have clinched the top seed, the Buffalo Bills have grabbed the second seed, and the Houston Texans have secured the fourth seed.
