The Buffalo Bills and receiver John Brown are feeling all kinds of things today with Damar Hamlin in their thoughts. In the first game since the incident involving Damar Hamlin, which saw him receive CPR on the field, the Bills were back in action against the New England Patriots.
No doubt the game would have been tough, but the Bills were doing their best and were able to get the game started with a bang. Running back Nyheim Hines returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown. He then did the same thing again in the second half.

However, the most emotional moment happened after receiver John Brown scored a touchdown. After scoring, Brown made a beeline for Denny Kellington, the athletic trainer who administered CPR to Hamlin on Monday night. Brown gave the ball that he scored a touchdown with to Kellington in what was a moving gesture from the receiver. Watch below:
Emotions were no doubt high as the Bills took on the Patriots in a game that had playoff implications regarding potential AFC seedings. Regardless of what happens, the touching moments before the game and then Brown's gift to Kellington will live long in the memory.
Will Hamlin play football again?
At the time of writing, the answer to that question is impossible to answer. With the sole focus being on Hamlin's health and him making a full recovery, anything else is rendered irrevellant, as it should be.
Given that the safety is only 24-years-old, he still has plenty of time to play football again, but the question everyone is asking is should he even make a comeback? After all, with player safety with concussions and other incidents in the limelight, whether the NFL would allow Damar to return is another question.
There would clearly have to be protocols and tests done for the safety to even contemplate a return to football, but as we have seen with Tua Tagovailoa's issues, health comes first.
Not only that, but later in life, players deserve to enjoy their lives without hindrance. Everyone hopes that the safety continues with his recovery, and maybe we will see him on the football field again.
