It seems Saquon Barkley still hasn't forgiven the New York Giants owner, John Mara, for letting him be traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. In what should have been a normally paid partnership, Barkley took it to the next level and used the opportunity to mock Mara, who has a net worth of $500 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Unisom, a company that sells sleeping aids, partnered with the Eagles running back for a commercial. In the commercial, Barkley could be seen on his bed, in green night clothes with an eye cover over his head. He told his followers that he does not have any trouble sleeping, but if they do, they should try Unisom.
"I’ve got no problem resting up, but for those of you who might have a tough time sleeping, try Unisom. Use as directed," Barkley captioned the post.

Last summer, the Giants were featured on "Hard Knocks". In one of the episodes, Mara mentioned that he did not want his star running back to be traded to their divisional rivals, the Eagles, which would only make it harder for them to rank in their division. In the episode, he hailed Barkley as the "organizational identity" of the team. Mara also said,
"I'll have a tough time sleeping if Saquon goes to Philadelphia."
Saquon Barkley makes feelings clear on being denied opportunity to set NFL record
Nick Sirianni decided to rest Saquon Barkley for the regular season finale against his former team and divisional rivals, the Giants. When asked about it, Sirianni said,
"It's a very special record that's been standing for a very long time by a great player. ... But you try to do what's best for the team. Our goals are to have success and play good the next game we play."
When asked about Sirianni's decision, Barkley said,
“It was an opportunity to imprint my name in football history. Might not ever get an opportunity like that again. … But at the end of the day I don’t care for putting the team at risk. He's the head coach for a reason. He makes those decisions."
Hopefully, Barkley will get his chance next season.
