Simone Biles decided to make a statement as she turned up to support her husband Jonathan Owens for the Chicago Bears' Thursday Night Football showdown against the Seattle Seahawks. Biles, the most decorated gymnast in Olympic history, turned up to rep the Bears with a long-sleeved outfit complete with custom pants.

The set was covered in pictures of her husband and had his number - 36 - plastered all over.

Biles and Owens tied the knot in April 2023, becoming the NFL's latest high-profile couple after Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift, and Josh Allen & Hailee Steinfeld.

While Biles did her best to get the Bears fans to throw their weight behind the team, it amounted to little as Chicago failed to put on a show during the NFL's last Thursday Night Football game of the season.

The Bears eventually fell to their 10th consecutive loss of the season, tied for the longest active streak in the NFL alongside the New York Giants, who have the opportunity to rack up another loss when they take on the playoff-chasing Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Where Jonathan Owens' Bears stand after Week 17 TNF loss

With just four wins all season, the Bears' season has amounted to little. For most of the year, they were flirting with another top-five selection in the NFL Draft rather than fighting for a place in the playoffs.

As things stand, per Tankathon odds, the Bears are projected to have the seventh overall pick in April, affording the franchise another opportunity to add some elite talent at the top end of the draft.

Before they do that, the Bears will have to hire a new head coach to get Caleb Williams, Jonathan Owens and Co. firing again.

The franchise fired Matt Eberflus after some poor game management after Thanksgiving and put Thomas Brown in charge of the team. While the offense was playing at a respectable level when Brown was in charge of the unit, they have shown very little promise since he was put in interim charge.

For most of the year, the Bears have been strongly linked with Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, who is arguably the hottest name on the coaching carousel this summer. Interestingly, Seattle Seahawks legend Pete Carroll has also reportedly expressed a desire to coach the team next year.
