WATCH: Taylor Swift turns little kid into Travis Kelce fan at Kansas City hospital

Taylor Swift is rarely spotted outside of Arrowhead Stadium when she is in Kansas City. However, she was spotted at Mercy Hospital on Thursday, just a day before her 35th birthday, for a charity event, where she met many children.

Although the visit was planned for a special child earlier, Swift couldn’t resist meeting everyone in the hospital who was excited by her sudden appearance.

A video was uploaded on X (formerly Twitter) where the billionaire pop star could be seen talking to a fan. The conversation went as follows:

The little kid said, "I like Travis now."

Taylor: YES, me too! That's an absolute yes on that one! Is he your favorite player?

The little kid: Yeah. He scored a hat trick.

Taylor: These are good answers. You are acing this!”

Taylor Swift gifts signed Tour books to fans

The child referred to the game in November 2022, when Kelce recorded a hat trick, including a decisive one in the late fourth quarter. Ultimately, Kansas City edged past the LA Chargers by 30-27.

The 35-year-old pop star continued signing the Eras tour book for her little fan while talking to a familiar fan of hers and her beau, Travis Kelce. She penned down,

“To Rylie, It was so awesome to meet you!! and to meet your mom and Bo! Love (Autograph)”

Taylor Swift visits other fans and hospital staff

The internet is flooded with pictures of her visit as a handle named Taylor Swift Updates kept uploading pictures from the visit. However, David Medina of KSHB reports that Swift was primarily present to attend to a special fan named Baylee.

Melissa Nuzum posted some pictures on Facebook with the caption.

“This morning, day #6 of Baylee in the hospital, we had the coolest, most unexpected surprise ever... ( with like 2 minutes warning), TAYLOR SWIFT came to visit inpatient children today, and Baylee was chosen since she requests Taylor songs during her uncomfortable procedures!”

“Ya'll, she is amazing! On top of her sheer beauty, she was just as kind, personable, and down to earth.”

After this, Swift gifted Baylee a signed copy of her Eras tour book and accepted a small gift from her. She then proceeded to visit other patients, including the child named Rylie mentioned above.

Another post reveals that she met a child who was undergoing the last day of his chemotherapy. The hospital staff also took the opportunity to take some pictures.
