On Friday, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped into the spotlight after the Kansas City Chiefs clinched the AFC’s top playoff seed following a decisive 29-10 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The lovebirds were spotted enjoying a chic dinner outing with the pop singer's longtime collaborator and music producer Jack Antonoff and his actress wife, Margaret Qualley. They were at BondST, which is a trendy New York City hotspot.
For the evening, Swift wore a shimmering metallic outfit paired with bold black thigh-high boots. Meanwhile, Kelce was sporting a light cardigan, beige pants and a signature black cap. As Swift and Kelce arrived at the restaurant, the couple turned heads as they subtly coordinated khaki tones with black accents.

The timing of this outing comes amid a celebratory week for Kelce. In the Week 17 clash, he broke the Kansas City Chiefs' record for most receiving touchdowns.
While Taylor Swift did not show up for the game, she rooted for her beau by liking a post from the Kansas City Chiefs' official account. Since there are no more Chiefs games until Jan. 5, Swift and Kelce can enjoy a rare stretch of quality time together.
Next up, the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Denver Broncos in Week 18.
Truth behind Taylor Swift’s Christmas Day game absence
In spite of having a free schedule after wrapping up her Eras Tour earlier this month, Taylor Swift opted out of attending the team's Christmas Day matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As reported by Page Six, the "Love Story" singer needs meticulous security arrangements and a comprehensive understanding of venues before considering such appearances. The Week 17 game, which was held in Pittsburgh, fell outside her comfort zone. Thus, she skipped it.
This isn’t the first time Swift has skipped a Chiefs' away game this season. Her presence has been exclusively tied to home games at Arrowhead Stadium.
For Travis Kelce, his girlfriend's absence wasn’t a distraction. He is laser-focused on his performance.
In a previous episode of the "New Heights" podcast, he shared his gratitude for every opportunity to play, saying:
“I’ll play whenever, wherever. I just know that I’m so fortunate to be able to play this game that I’m gonna cherish every time I get to play on this field.”
So, it is safe to assume that Taylor Swift might also snub the Week 18 clash on Jan. 5 since it will be held at Empower Field at Mile High.
