New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers went all out to express his appreciation for his offensive line. So much so that it could rival a celebrity’s Christmas haul.

According to ESPN, the four-time MVP gifted each of his offensive linemen custom Tom Ford suits, cologne, sunglasses, high-end speakers, bottles of bourbon and Louis Vuitton passport holders. It’s a package worth over $10,000 per player.

As news of Rodgers’ generosity hit X, Jets fans couldn’t resist channeling their humor. A recurring theme was the stark difference between Aaron Rodgers' lavish gifting and the New York Jets’ lackluster performance.

"What did he buy Garrett Wilson?" one fan jokingly asked.

"Good gift, not as cool as swords though," another reacted comparing Rodgers' gift for the Jets' o-line to Joe Burrows' gift to the Bengals' o-line.
A third fan mocked, "And all they wanted was some W’s. He overpaid. So did the Jets."

More NFL fans joined in with their responses.

Currently, the New York Jets are standing at a 4-11 record and another playoff-less season in the books. It is the 14th consecutive postseason year for the team.

Aaron Rodgers-led New York Jets offensive line had a challenging season

QB Aaron Rodgers was sacked 33 times for a loss of 259 yards in 15 games. This averages out to over two sacks per game. In spite of these pressures, A-Rod managed to throw for 3,511 yards with 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

In the run game, the O-line lacked consistency. LR Breece Hall posted 774 yards on 187 carries, which is 4.1 yards per attempt on average. It shows individual efforts but the team's failure to set up a dominant ground game was quite clear with Breece Hall only breaking three runs of 20+ yards all season.

Moreover, the Jets’ offensive line faced penalties and communication issues. It often disrupted their drives and slowed down the offense. In close games, the line had trouble holding up against strong defenses.

Looking ahead, the Jets' have to assess their offensive line’s shortcomings in the upcoming offseason. Investing in upgrades through the draft and free agency is needed to improve both pass protection and run-blocking schemes.
