DeVonta Smith, the fourth receiver to win the Heisman Trophy in 2020, was acquired by the Philadelphia Eagles after the team traded him up to the No. 10 overall pick. Along with Tua Tagovailoa, Henry Ruggs III, Jerry Jeudy, and other members of the class of 2017, Smith was a five-star prospect who chose Alabama.
The wideout, who stands at 6' 0" and 174 pounds, concluded his time in Alabama with 3,971 yards and 47 touchdowns.
Smith and the Philadelphia Eagles reached an agreement on a four-year, $20.1 million rookie deal in 2021. He will make $940,000 in basic pay, $1,551,036 in roster bonuses, $5,493,107 in cap hits, and $11,901,730 in dead cap value in 2023. As of January 2023, Smith’s net worth is estimated at around $5 million.

In 2021, DeVonta Smith bought his mother, Christina Smith-Sylve, a new home as soon as he signed his first professional contract. His mother sobbed and embraced him as she walked through the home's front door and then into the basement, where two vehicles were waiting.
The video depicts a sizable front area with a little garden. The following caption was added to Smith's Instagram image of the event:

A few days later, in July 2021, Smith paid $624,900 for another five-bedroom house in Marlton, New Jersey. The 3,288-square-foot home is warm and inviting and has an open floor plan. It also has a complete living space in the basement and an open balcony on the second floor.
DICK'S Sporting Goods has picked Smith to serve as the face of its VRST men's clothing line. Additionally, he's working with the crypto token market Fyooz to develop "Smitty Coin," a token that enthusiasts may use to access exclusive opportunities.
In 2021, during his debut season, LifeBrand, a budding software business that provides distinctive solutions to assist in developing and safeguarding corporate and personal brands on social media, also partnered with Smith.
