Trevon Diggs suffered a season-ending ACL injury in practice leading up to Week 3 of the 2023/2024 NFL season. The Dallas Cowboys have placed the star cornerback on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list to start their training camp this year.
Diggs signed a five-year, $97 million contract extension with the Cowboys last year and is seen as a huge part of the franchise. He is expected to feature in the team's season opener against the Cleveland Browns, and placing him on the PUP list allows the Alabama product to heal further.

In the 2021/2022 NFL season, Trevon Diggs recorded 11 interceptions and solidified his status as one of the best at his position. The 25-year-old cornerback has made the Pro Bowl twice in his career and will likely make it again this season if he stays healthy.
