Dez Bryant hasn't donned the starred helmet in years, but like other notable ex-Dallas Cowboys players, he still supports his former team.
The wide receiver is quite literally putting his money where his mouth is as well. Bryant took to Twitter to announce both he and Meek Mill bet $20,000 on the Cowboys' upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
In a similar vein to many other ex-Cowboys players who have publicly supported their former team, Bryant's announcement was met with jokes aplenty. The original post was made before the game and doubters scoffed. After the game, many came back to gloat.

One of them wrote on Twitter in response to Bryant tweeting that Dallas will be 'smoking on that Eagles pack':

Here's a look at what was said before and after the game:
How did the Dallas Cowboys fare on Sunday Night Football?

Without Dak Prescott, Dallas arrived in Philadelphia with an intent to silence the Eagles for the first time this season. It quickly became clear that the chances of that were already on life support by halftime, when it was 20-3 with Philadelphia set to receive the second-half kickoff.
However, the Cowboys' defense settled in and managed to effectively shut down Philadelphia's offense for much of the second half. At the same time, Dallas' offense climbed back within striking distance.
However, once the team got within range of taking the lead, the Eagles finally broke through the resurgent Dallas defense, scoring a touchdown.
Philadelphia elected to go for a two-point conversion but failed. It didn't matter in the end, though, as Dallas fell short by a score of 17-26.
At the end of the game, a scrum developed between the two teams. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was seen yelling trashtalk across the field towards the other team.
Many anticipated this would be the game that would undo Cooper Rush's unlikely run in relief of Dak Prescott. Doubters were villified by the end of the contest.
Rush completed 18 of 38 passes for 181 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions. Ezekiel Elliot ended up being the star of the team, earning 81 yards on 13 carries and scoring a touchdown.
Dallas won't play against Philadelphia again until Christmas Eve, when Prescott will presumably be healthy and in the starter role once again. Put simply, many anticipate a much different game when the two teams meet again.
Will the Eagles be able to sweep the team or will the Cowboys get the final laugh?
