AFC Divisional Playoffs - Cincinnati Bengals v Buffalo Bills
Joe Burrow #9 of the Cincinnati Bengals

The Super Bowl is the pinnacle of the National Football League, and all 32 teams aim to win it at the end of the season. Say what you want about the so-called lottery teams in the NFL, but all of them aim to win the Super Bowl.

However, despite some teams' best efforts, they can't just seem to win a SB, so matter how hard they try. They do the hard part of getting to the Super Bowl game but always lose. Here, we will look at some of these teams and their likelihood of winning a Big Game in the future.

Top three teams that have lost every Super Bowl they've been in:

#3 Cincinnati Bengals - 3 Losses in 3 Super Bowls

The Cincinnati Bengals are one of the most exciting teams in today's NFL, but do you know that they have never won the Big Game? The Bengals are 0-3 in Big Game contests and are looking for their first chip.

The Bengals got close last season when they lost by a single score against the Los Angeles Rams in SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles. They came mightily close after stellar play from Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins. The current iteration of Bengals players looks to be in prime position to contest for multiple Big Games in the next couple of years, as long as they keep their core together.

#2 Minnesota Vikings - 4 losses in 4 Super Bowls

The Minnesota Vikings are a legendary franchise with its fair share of superstars. However, despite the team being a talent haven in the late 90s, early 2000s, and even later, they're yet to taste Big Game glory. In the days of Randy Moss, the Vikings regularly had the most ferocious offense in the NFL, but unfortunately, they couldn't win it all.

Now, they rely on a young wide receiver who's similar in many ways to Moss, Justin Jefferson. However, despite the talents of Jefferson and the Pro Bowl-caliber shot calling from Kirk Cousins, the Vikings still find ways of coming up short.

This season was particularly frustrating, as they lost a very winnable wildcard round game against the New York Giants. It remains to be seen whether this generation of Vikings can break the Big Game jinx or the status quo will remain.

#1 Buffalo Bills - 4 consecutive losses in 4 consecutive Super Bowl games

The inspiration behind this list is that the Buffalo Bills have a special slot in Super Bowl infamy, holding the most unwanted record.

The Bills made four straight Big Game appearances (1990-1993) but lost every one of them. If that doesn't show you how unlucky the team in blue is, what will? Painfully for the Bills, those Super Bowl-losing teams were some of the best of their era, and they were just unlucky to come up against some prime teams in that span.

There were the OG Dallas Cowboys, a rapid Redskins team, and the ll conquering 1990 New York Giants side. The Bills tried their best but couldn't keep up with the opposition.

These days the Bills have perfected the art of balling out in the regular season but falling short in the postseason, before the Big Game. Last year they came close, but the less said about this year's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, the better. The Bills still have a top-notch QB and Wide Receiver duo in Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs. They better utilize their pairing before it's too late.
