What will happen to Super Bowl 2023 'champions' gear made for Philadelphia Eagles?

The NFL, location, broadcasting company, and obviously, the participants themselves must all prepare for the Super Bowl. The championship gear that is made before the championship faceoff is part of the preparations.

The Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII, beating the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs' T-shirts and other memorabilia feature the "Super Bowl LVII champion," allowing fans to purchase them after the Super Bowl win. However, what becomes of the embroidered T-shirts of the Eagles winning the Super Bowl?

Well, the NFL collaborates with NGO Good360 to prevent pre-made and unneeded clothing from ending up in landfills. According to Good360, the company gathers the apparel and sends it to "vetted nonprofit partners" in unidentified regions of Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

The bequest could include memorabilia from the Super Bowl losers and the San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals - organizations that lost the NFC and AFC Championship games.

According to Romaine Seguin, CEO of Good360:

"It goes to nations where someone needs a hat on their head because they're out in the blistering sun all day, or they need a shirt on their back."

Jackets, caps, sweatshirts and napkins are presumably among some of the contributed goods.

Fans of the Super Bowl team that loses can take solace in the fact that the winnings will at least benefit a deserving project. Children from low-income households may therefore be sporting T-shirts that read "Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl LVII champs."

Can ‘Super Bowl winning’ gear of Philadelphia Eagles still be found in United States?

Due to "strict compliance measures" in place at Good360, gifted goods cannot be sold or put into the possession of anybody else in the United States.

So even if the chance of purchasing Bengals AFC championship clothing sounds quite enticing to those who didn't believe Cincinnati had a fair chance against the Chiefs, the likelihood of it being available for purchase is slim.

In 2011, the distribution of Super Bowl 'losing' gear went to Zambia, Nicaragua, Romania and Zambia following the Pittsburgh Steelers' defeat to the Green Bay Packers.
