As for the COVID outbreak in the New England Patriots camp, many measures were taken in 2020.

Following Cam Newton's positive test, the NFL was forced to move the Patriots' game against Kansas City from Oct. 4 to Oct. 5. Gilmore's positive test resulted in a three-day closure of the Gillette Stadium facility, as well as a one-day postponement of the Patriots' Week 5 game against the Denver Broncos in Foxborough.
