When 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin shot Sasquatch mannequins with Brett Favre

Brett Favre is one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history and he once hung out with one of the best wrestlers of all-time. Last year, the Hall of Fame quarterback hung out with WWE Hall of Famer 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin on his show 'Straight Up Steve Austin.'

Austin spoke of the experience with Favre on 'The Rich Eisen Show,' commenting on his chemistry with the former NFL quarterback. Here's what Austin said:

"We bonded from the moment we shook hands until we parted ways. He's an unbelievable guy. To spend a day with the gunslinger, very cool."

During the episode with Austin, Brett Favre was seen shooting bows at an unlikely target: A Sasqutach (sort of). He and Austin hung out in the former quarterback's home state of Mississippi and shot bows at the fictional creature.

Favre spoke about leaving the Green Bay Packers after spending 16 seasons with the team to play for the rival Minnesota Vikings:

"Going to Minnesota was something that obviously I never thought I would do, especially being a diehard Packer for so many years, and I hated playing there, because we could not win in Minnesota."

The former Green Bay Packers star also spoke about playing on Monday NIght Football after his father Irv passed away the day before:

“I can just hear him: ‘Bullsh--, you're sitting out. You better get your ass out there and play.' So the easy decision was to play. The hard part was to play at a level that I felt in my mind was honoring him.”

He threw for 399 yards and four touchdowns in the Packers' Week 16 game in the 2003 - 2004 season versus the Oakland Raiders.

Brett Favre's Hall of Fame NFL career

Brett Favre initially started his career with the Atlanta Falcons but was traded to Green Bay. With the Packers, Favre won the NFL MVP award for three straight seasons (1995 - 1997) and a Super Bowl in the 1996 - 1997 season. He played two campaigns with the Vikings and his final season with the New York Jets. He was also a 11-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro.

The Green Bay Packers great was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016. He currently ranks fourth in NFL history with 71,838 passing yards and 508 touchdowns. In addition, he's the NFL's all-time leader in interceptions with 336. Needless to say, Brett Favre was far from stone cold on the football field.
