Tampa Bay Buccaneers star wide receiver Mike Evans suffered a hamstring injury against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7's Monday Night Football game. The record-breaking wideout is a key part of the team's offense, and as soon as he went down, fans started wondering whether he was okay and how much time he'd miss with this issue.
Buccaneers reporter JC Allen offered an update on Evans' situation, saying he'd be sidelined until after Tampa's Week 11 bye.
"Per Sources, #Bucs WR Mike Evans will be sidelined with his hamstring injury until after the team’s Week 11 bye. Anything sooner than a Week 12 return against the Giants is considered unlikely."

With 7:37 minutes on the clock in the second quarter, Baker Mayfield attempted a deep pass for Evans. It resulted in an incomplete pass and a hamstring injury for the receiver after being tackled by Brandon Stephens, who was also injured after the play ended.
Evans only recorded one reception on three targets, but the pass he caught was enough to get a 25-yard touchdown. He made history with that catch, reaching 100 touchdown receptions in his career.
Besides losing the game, Tampa Bay lost two key players. In addition to Evans, Chris Godwin suffered another injury in garbage time. The situation became so serious that his teammates surrounded him while he received medical attention on the field. This isn't good news for the Bucs. They are tied with the Falcons for the top position in the NFC South standings (4-3) after Week 7.
Baker Mayfield lamented Mike Evans and Chris Godwin's injuries against Ravens
Baker Mayfield reacted to the injuries of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, detailing the importance of having those two on the field.
"Two of the guys that are [the] huge heartbeat of this team. ... [We're going to be thinking about Chris and Mike for a while here," Mayfield said in his postgame conference.
The Bucs have Jalen McMillan, Sterling Shepard and Trey Palmer, among others, to try to fill in for Evans and Godwin. They will have to manage this situation until both players are back and try to get as much as they can from a rookie and a couple of players who haven't shined in the NFL.
