The Jacksonville Jaguars have dished out millions of dollars in free agency this offseason
It's been a busy and expensive offseason for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After franchise-tagging star edge-rusher Hines-Allen, the team agreed to a five-year extension worth $150 million, including $88 million guaranteed, after he set the single-season franchise record for most sacks in a single season (17.5.) The Jaguars also made quarterback Trevor Lawrence the highest-paid player in NFL history, inking him to a five-year, $275 million contract extension with $142 million guaranteed.
The Jaguars also landed former Buffalo Bills center Mitch Morse (two years, $10.5 million) and Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis (three years, $39 million.) They also landed big-ticket free agent DL Arik Armstead, signing him to a three-year, $43.5 million contract.
Between Lawrence, Hines-Allen, Campbell, Armstead, Davis and Morse, the Jaguars have dished out $594.5 million in contract money this offseason.
The Jaguars finished last season with a 9-8 record and just missed the playoffs. They've retained some of their best players this offseason while adding some talent in free agency. Do you think Duval will make it back to the playoffs in 2024?
