The NFL playoffs will begin this weekend on Saturday, January 14. A total of 14 teams (seven teams from each conference) will compete in the playoffs as they look to make it to Super Bowl LVII.
The NFL playoffs are divided into the Wild Card round, Divisional weekend, and Conference Championship. The Wild Card round consists of six games, featuring 12 teams (six teams from the AFC and the NFC).
The remaining two teams who earned the first seed in the AFC and the NFC received a bye into the Divisional round. After Week 18 of the regular season, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles landed the top spot in each conference.

In the 2023 playoffs, the Chiefs and the Eagles won't play in the Wild Card round as they have already entered the Divisional round. In the AFC, the winner of the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars game will face the Chiefs in the second round of the playoffs. Similarly, the winner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Dallas Cowboys game will play the Eagles in the NFC Divisional round.
How many teams will make it to the Divisional Round in the 2023 NFL Playoffs?
Apart from the Chiefs and the Eagles, six more teams will make it to the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs. There will be four games in this round, meaning eight NFL teams (four from the AFC and four from the NFC) will participate. The winners will enter the Conference Championship.
The Conference Championship is the third round of the NFL playoffs. This round decides the winners of the two conferences.
The winners of the two conferences will finally play against each other in Super Bowl LVII.

How to watch Super Bowl LVII?
This year's NFL Championship game will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at 6:30 pm ET at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The Super Bowl game will be live-streamed on the Fox Sports channel, Fox Sports website, NFL+ app, and Fox Sports app. Hulu, Sling TV, and FuboTV will offer live streaming of Super Bowl 57.
