The Eagles came under investigation for alleged violation of the NFL’s anti-tampering policy, which states that teams cannot approach a free agent athlete for recruiting purposes before the NFL’s predetermined deadline. After the Eagles signed Saquon Barkley from the New York Giants, they were under the radar for the violation.

Earlier this month, the NFL gave its verdict that the Philadelphia Eagles were not guilty of violating the anti-tampering policy. This sent the former Eagles Super Bowl winner Jason Kelce over the moon. On his podcast ‘New Heights,’ he broke down all aspects of the news with his brother Travis Kelce.

Jason asked:

“I don't know who accused us.”

Travis Kelce replied:

“Might have been the New York football Giants."

Travis then proceeded to read the NFL statement:

"After revealing text messages, emails, and other documents related to the signing the interviewing of say Saquan Barkley, General Manager Howie Roseman, and head coach Nick Sirianni and Penn State Head Coach James Franklin, the NFL found no evidence the team violated the tampering, the anti-tampering policy.”
