NFL fans are indifferent toward Tom Brady's roles as a commentator and a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. The future Hall of Fame quarterback is in his first season as a commentator for FOX, after he signed a 10-year, $375,000,000 deal with the network.

Although Brady is a commentator, he also is a part owner of the Raiders with a big role with the team. Brady reportedly has a say on who Las Vegas' coach will be, which caused one NFL reporter to question why he's still allowed to be a commentator.

The NFL created separate rules for Brady, which means he isn't allowed in other teams' facilities. Some NFL fans believe he shouldn't even be allowed to call games anymore.

"It's not the annoucing. It's not calling their games, it's calling others. It's the prep. You know how the announcers are all 'I talked to coach X and Y and he said blah blah blah' during the game? There are pre-production meetings where the commentators spend time in the teams facilties talking to people. Brady's restrictions prevent him from doing this," a fan wrote.
"I think the issue is Brady as an owner gets a lot of access that other owners don’t," another fan wrote. "Including how he talks about players. If he talks glowingly about a player, it could signal that the Raiders would be interested in them if they hit free agency."

Other fans, however, didn't seem to care as they think Brady should still be able to call NFL games.

"Who gives a s**t? It’s not like he’s reffing the games he’s just talking about them," a fan added.
"Two things that have LITERALLY ZERO to do with one another," another fan wrote.

NFL fans are torn on whether or not Brady should be able to continue to call NFL games given his ownership in the Raiders.

"I honestly don’t think it affects anything or matters," a fan added.
"Can someone explain like I’m five why this is a bad thing with his restrictions and not just weird Brady hate continuing?," a fan added.

Brady became a part owner of the Raiders in October after the other owners approved it.

Tom Brady reportedly wants Bill Belichick to coach the Raiders

Although Tom Brady is just a part-time owner, he has a big say on the Las Vegas Raiders' decisions.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL.com, Brady has been in touch with Belichick to become the Raiders' new coach. It comes after Las Vegas fired Antonio Pierce after just one season with the team.

Tom Brady and Belichick won six Super Bowls together with the New England Patriots.
