The game between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Denver Broncos will not win any awards. Denver's run on primetime continues to be poor viewing.
At SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles managed to pull out a 19-16 win in overtime after a rather poor offensive display from both teams.
Russell Wilson started the game hot as his Broncos raced out to a 10-point lead. As expected, both defenses stepped up and made it a tough, hard slog. This was evident, especially during overtime when both teams simply couldn't get anything going.

Neither team was able to move the ball at all in overtime, and both were forced to punt.
It was only due to a mix-up between the two Denver punt returners that saw Los Angeles get the ball in field goal range. Dustin Hopkins, with a bad kicking leg, stepped up and slotted home to finally put the fans out of their misery.
Los Angeles moved to 4-2, while Denver slumped to 2-4. They now sit third in the AFC West standings.
Chargers take down Broncos in defensive masterclass
The game on Monday night did little to suggest that either Los Angeles or Denver will amount to much. Herbert has shown what a force he can be. It was tough viewing at SoFi, however, as the Broncos defense took over.
The same can be said for Wilson and the Denver offense. Although, we have been saying this since Week 1. After a first quarter in which it looked like Wilson was back to his normal self and "cooking," he could only muster two field goals for the rest of the game.
He finished with 15/28 with 188 passing yards and a touchdown. Denver on third down were again horrific, going 4/14.
For Los Angeles, such was Denver's defensive prowess, Herbert had to pass a ridiculous 57 times, completing 37 of them for 238 yards and an interception.
Running back Austin Ekeler was Mr. Fix it. He totaled 36 rushing yards and 14 carries and caught 10 passes for 48 yards.
While the Chargers managed to "win" the game, this one, like many of the primetime games that Denver has been involved in, will be forgotten rather quickly.
