The 2021 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award winner was Andrew Whitworth, a former offensive lineman for the Los Angeles Rams.
Whitworth won the award for his stellar work for the community in the 2021-22 NFL season. Part of the work Whitworth did for his community was an outreach that included partnering with charities to furnish a duplex for a local family moving from shelters to permanent housing over the holidays.
Furthermore, he utilized his charity to provide affordable housing for impoverished households. Whitworth didn't start his charitable endeavors last season, as the former Cincinnati Bengals OT has been given to the people for over a decade.
