The XFL completed its slate for Week 2, with the San Antonio Brahmas, Orlando Guardians, Arlington Renegades and Houston Roughnecks in action. Sunday (Feb. 26) provided a fitting finale for the second week in the XFL, with end-to-end action, new rules having their desired effect and, of course, excellent play at critical times.
The first game of the day was between the San Antonio Brahmas and the Orlando Guardians. The Brahmas notched up their first win of the season, outscoring the Guardians 30-12. It was the second straight loss for Orlando. The box scores are given below.

The final game of the weekend saw the Arlington Renegades take on the Houston Roughnecks in a budding Texas rivalry. The two teams, who share facilities, sized each other up all the way. After all was said and done, the Roughnecks came away with the bragging rights, winning 23-14. The box scores are given below.

With Week 2 of XFL 2023 now over, we have a better idea of where each team stands. The full standings are as follows:
Each XFL team has now played two games, and the divisions are shaping up well.
In the North Division, the DC Defenders and the St. Louis Battlehawks have won both their games, while the Vegas Vipers and the Seattle Sea Dragons have lost both of theirs.
It will make for an intriguing matchup in Week 3. The two teams with winning records will face each other, and the two teams with losing records will also butt heads. It's all set for one team to earn their first win of the season and for another to lose their first game.
The South Division sees the Houston Roughnecks as the runaway leaders with a 2-0 record. The Orlando Guardians are winless at 0-2. The San Antonio Brahmas and the Arlington Renegades have a win and a loss apiece.
The Guardians will play the Renegades next, looking for their first win of the season, while the Brahmas will look to end the Roughnecks' unbeaten record.
