Former NBA baller Brian Davis is suing the Bank of America for his failed Washington Commanders bid. His company, Urban Echo Energy, has filed a civil lawsuit against Bank of America regarding the sale of the Commanders.
Davis' company is seeking $500 billion in damages and alleges in the lawsuit that $5.1 billion was deposited with Bank of America in two different transfers. According to reports, the company's lawsuit claims that it made a $7.1 billion offer for Washington that Daniel Snyder would have accepted.
Nevertheless, Bank of America should have notified him of the bid properly. The case will be in court in due time.
Embattled current Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder entered into a purchase agreement with a group led by Josh Harris to sell the Commanders on May 12.

Challenge ahead for new Washington Commanders ownership group
With the Washington Commanders about to have new owners, here are three challenges ahead for the ownership group to make the Commanders Super Bowl contenders.
#1 Get a franchise quarterback
A significant part of Washington's problems in the last two and a half decades, predating Snyder, starts from the quarterback position.
The Commanders have started 34 quarterbacks since they last won the Super Bowl in 1991. Eight quarterbacks started at least one game in Rivera's first three seasons. A different QB has started in the last five season openers. This year will make it six.
The Commanders have Sam Howell at the center heading into 2023. However, if they want to join that upper echelon, the new owners must sign a statement QB sooner rather than later.
#2 Build a stadium
The Washington Commanders have been looking for a new building site for several years, with Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia being preferred locations. For the new owners, a new stadium would boost the franchise value and give them a return on their investment.
It will prove a new beginning for the franchise, so the new owners should explore the possibility of building one.
#3 Win back the fans
The Washington Redskins, Football Team, and Commanders, whatever you want to call them, have played in eight postseason games since 1993, last winning one in 2005. The once-proud franchise won three Super Bowls in a decade, reached five from 1972 to 1991, and went 18-10 in the postseason.
Their fan base has been disgruntled for a while, as they should be. That new ownership group has quite a task ahead of them as they look to rebuild a relationship broken by years of mismanagement under Dan Snyder.
