C.J. Stroud is likely to hear his name called early in the 2023 NFL Draft, but the quarterback tackled another important issue. The Ohio State star attended a dinner regarding both prison reform and a 'corrupt' criminal justice system hosted by Kim Kardashian.
The event was sponsored by the REFORM Alliance, an organization that seeks to help fix the criminal justice system via reform and other means.
Stroud was able to tell his story and how these issues have affected his life. His father, Coleridge Stroud III, was imprisoned on a 38-year-to-life sentence originating from an April 2015 incident. The quarterback was just 13 years old at the time.

C.J. Stroud could make history in the 2023 NFL Draft
Stroud is seen as the quarterback taken off the board come April's draft, as high as a top-five pick. He would be the first Buckeyes signal-caller taken in the first round since Dwayne Haskins was taken 15th overall in the 2015 draft.
The last top-five Ohio State quarterback drafted was Art Schlichter, who went fourth overall to the Baltimore Colts in the 1982 draft.
We'll see where the two-time Big 10 Offensive Player of the Year lands as C.J. Stroud looks to have a bigger platform for others to hear his story.
