Robert Griffin III has reportedly been fired by ESPN with two years remaining on his deal. The former NFL quarterback joined ESPN in 2021 and was a part of the network's college game broadcast teams. Griffin was also a part of ESPN's Monday Night Countdown but was recently replaced by Jason Kelce.

Sam Ponder, host of ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown since 2017, was also let go by the network.
