Why was Peyton Manning mad after AFC loss in Pro Bowl flag football game?

After the 2023 Pro Bowl flag football game, it was clear that Peyton Manning was livid over something.

In the dying seconds of the AFC's 35-33 loss on Sunday to the NFC team coached by his brother Eli Manning, Peyton wasn't thrilled when an official for the Pac-12 allowed them to run the clock out and take a knee. As wide receiver Justin Jefferson was caught waving goodbye to the AFC, Peyton moved from the sideline to where the play ended, shouting that a penalty should have been called.

Despite Manning's dissatisfaction, the play was not reversed, and his AFC Conference team took the L in the flag football game. Next year, Manning and his crew will be more acquainted with the rule book to prevent such stories.
