The XFL is reportedly facing some serious issues after quarterback Quinten Dormady was cut by the Orlando Guardians over giving away the team's playbook. More specifically, Orlando cut Dormady after he supposedly gave an opposing team plays from their own playbook.
The Guardians reportedly looked into the incident and then decided to let Dormady go. His name and statistics have been erased from the XFL's official website as well. It remains unknown which team he allegedly gave the plays to. Currently, the Guardians are winless from two games this season.
Head coach Terrell Buckley's offense has a total of 300 yards, four touchdowns, and four interceptions this season.

The Guardians have not released a statement on the matter as they are getting set to face the Arlington Renegades in their next matchup. With Dormady out, former NFL quarterback Paxton Lynch will likely be the starting quarterback for the Guardians moving forward.
For XFL owners Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Dany Garcia, this could be a major deal as the league is in its inaugural season. The league is back after two failed attempts by WWE chairman Vince McMahon to successfully run the league. For Johnson, the controversy surrounding Dormady is a big deal.
Why the XFL should be concerned about Dormady's reported actions
Most football fans think a playbook is what they see when playing Madden, but it's a lot more than that. According to the website SportsLingo.com, a playbook contains a great deal of information for players. It is believed to have strategies and plays, divided into various sections.
It's a very confidential document that players are allowed to have only when they are with the team.
In this case, Dormady handed plays that the Guardians run to an opponent as a means to have an advantage over them. Time will tell when Johnson will address the matter that currently hovers over his league.
With XFL attempting to fill the void in the football calendar with a successful season this year, such controversies are the last thing they need.
