Watson not being suspended is big for his guaranteed $230 million deal, as had he been suspended, according to Sportico, there is a clause in Watson's contract that Cleveland can void his contract if he is suspended for conduct detrimental to the NFL.

Watson has three years left on his five-year $230,000 deal.

Watson was suspended for 11 games in 2022 after more than two dozen women accused him of sexual assault and inappropriate conduct during massage sessions.

The Cleveland Browns are off to a 1-4 start as Deshaun Watson has struggled.

However, coach Kevin Stefanski said the team isn't going to make a quarterback change.

"We're not changing quarterbacks. We need to play better. I need to coach better. And that's really what it is," Stefanski said, via News5Cleveland.

This season, Watson has gone 106-for-176 for 852 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions. Despite his struggles, star Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett defended Watson after Cleveland's last loss.

"Playing his a** off. He's fighting to be out there. He's out there trying to make plays and that's what we ask of him," Garrett said after the game. "We're going to get it right and he's going to be a part of that."

Cleveland will go on the road to play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in Week 6.
